WildLand Fire In Film

Not much has changed in the world of wildfire. From the paulaskis used to dig up hotspots and create hand line, to the medium helicopters we use to dump water on fires, most of the tools we use are the same as they were in the 60s and 70s. This makes wildfire, in a way, timeless. Photos taken thirty or more years ago, can look the same as ones taken today. My goal is to capture current wildfire operations in a way that is also timeless, using black and white film, developed and scanned at home.
