The people you meet when you work in wildfire are truly unique. A broad spectrum from students, paying for their collage degrees, to First Nations, who have fire in their blood, and may have been working wildfire for 20 plus years. No matter the advance in technology, whether it be helicopters with buckets attached, or heat sensing drones, its the people on the ground that extinguish fires. Here is a snapshot into their daily lives.
